·      HCC has received a order from Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Ltd, Muzaffarpur for construction of 'Main Plant, CW, Offsite Civil Works and Chimney & Chimney Elevator Package for Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Project (TPP), Stage-II (2x195MW)" in Bihar.

·      HDFC plans to sell its investments in unlisted companies to private equity companies.

·      Monnet Power plans to invest `3300Cr for increasing power generation capacity of its plant built at Angul in Orissa.

·      GAIL in talks with GVK, GMR to setup a five million (mtpa) liquefied LNG terminal costing around `4000Cr.

·      Hero Honda plans to buy 800 acres in Aurangabad in the estate of MIDC.

·      Novelis to go for expansion and debottlenecking plans across the globe will increase its recycling capacity by a third to 200,000 metric tonne pa.
