| As global FDI prospects remain dulled by risks and uncertainty given the still-struggling advanced economies, we believe Asia will simultaneously remain the top choice for an FDI host and a source of FDI, backed by its strong economic and financial fundamentals. We see the emergence of two trends in Asia investment: 1) a larger dependence on intra-regional investments within Asia, and 2) more outward investment by strong Asian companies seeking to regionalise their operations abroad.RDD |
