Cement Dispatches – October 2011
Ambuja Cements’ dispatches in October increased marginally by 1.7% yoy to
1.78mn tonnes. Tepid growth in dispatches was on account of low pick-up in
demand post the monsoons – partially attributable to festivities during the month.
Further, high interest rates continued to affect demand from the real estate and
infra sectors. We continue to remain Neutral on the stock
