Buzzing Stocks
·      The excise and taxation department of Punjab has selected Wipro to deploy tax management system across the state.
·      Tata Steel and Jindal Steel & Power will use the large inferior coal deposits in the country to produce ultra clean liquid fuels such as diesel and naphtha to meet growing energy demands.
·      Suzlon Energy's subsidiary, Suzlon Wind Energy Corp, received an order for 15S97-2.1 MW wind turbines for Amherst Project in Nova Scotia.
·      Coal India has assured the government that it will make efforts to increase coal availability to users by 28mn tons in FY12.
·      Dr Reddy's Laboratories said its Mexican arm has received a warning letter from the US health regulator for violation of current good manufacturing practice regulations.
·      Power Grid Corporation of India will be competing for a domestic contract with Indian and foreign rivals for the first time since its inception.
·      HPCL is to soon create a subsidiary to hold its exploration and production assets and those of Prize Petroleum.
