·      The Ruias of Essar to sell their 33% stake in Vodafone Essar for US$5bn in cash.
·      Customers of natural gas from RIL’s D6 field are facing a pro-rata cut due to dwindling supply.
·      L&T has sold its stake in L&T-CASE Equipment to its joint venture partner CNH Global NV.
·      Coal India has set production and coal off-take targets of 452MT and 454MT, respectively, for the financial year 2011-12.
·      Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has been amalgamated with Siemens and stands dissolved, with effect from March 14
·      TCS has bagged an IT services deal from the US arm of Air-Liquide Group to provide application support, maintenance and development services.
·      Hindalco Industries has achieved the financial closure for its `105bn green-field aluminium smelter project at Mahan in Madhya Pradesh.
·      KEC International wins order worth `8bn.
·      Aurobindo Pharma has received the final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and market Fosinopril Sodium tablets.
