NTPC’s Korba STPP Unit VII (500MW) declared commercial
NTPC declared the Unit VII (500MW) of the Korba Super Thermal Power Plant (STPP)
commercial on March 21, 2011. The company had also declared Unit-I (500MW) of
Indira Gandhi STPP at Jhajjar commercial on March 5, 2011. NTPC’s installed capacity
currently stands at ~34,000MW. The overall capacity addition of NTPC in FY2011 is
expected to be 3,150MW. We maintain Buy on the stock with a target price of `230
