q We expect Union Budget 2011-12 to be largely neutral for the real estate
sector.
q Real estate industry is expecting hike in the income tax exemption for interest
and principal repayment. This is likely to result in increased demand in the
residential segment.
q Real estate industry is also expecting extension of Section 80IB benefits as well
as uniformity in stamp duty across states.
