· L&T has secured two orders worth `415Cr from Hindalco and Sepco-1 for construction of thermal power plant.
· Godrej Consumer Products has acquired 100% stake in Naturesse Consumer Care Products (NC) and Essence Consumer Care Products (EC) from Muskan Projects, which own Swastik soap and liquid detergent brand Genteel, once synonymous with specialised woollen fabric care washing, respectively.
· Religare Enterprises buys controlling stake in US-based private equity and real estate investment firm, Landmark Partners for `770Cr.
· NTPC, which is scouting for coal properties abroad to fuel its power plants back home may opt for Indonesia for its proximity, compared to Australia and Africa.
· Apollo Hospitals is looking to offload a 49% stake in its pharmacy chain unit and is also exploring the possibility of listing the unit in the next six months.
