Wipro to provide IT solution to UK-based OnStream
Wipro has built a private cloud for UK-based OnStream Utility Metering Services
(OnStream), which will allow the latter to tap business opportunities at a low cost.
This will also enable OnStream to tap and address opportunities in a market-friendly
manner and at a greatly altered cost structure. Under this programme, OnStream has
replaced its existing IT infrastructure with a new service-driven model using a private cloud
approach. This approach has aligned the IT architecture to be more flexible in functionality
and configuration while at the same lowering operational cost and improving
responsiveness. This project will help OnStream to manage, standardise and automate
data centre processes to continue to optimise business efficiencies. We maintain our Buy
rating on Wipro with a target price of `483.
