Sun Pharma receives USFDA approval for DOCEFREZ injections
Sun Pharma has received USFDA approval for its New Drug Application (NDA) for
DOCEFREZ (docetaxel) for injection (20 mg/vial and 80 mg/vial). This NDA provides for
the use of DOCEFREZ for injection for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, locally
advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and hormone refractory metastatic
prostate cancer.
On a conservative basis, the approval could lead to `1/share increment to our estimated
EPS of `23.1 for FY2013E. We recommend Buy on the stock with a revised target price
of `530.
