·      Nippon Life, the largest Japanese life insurance company, has acquired 26% stake in Reliance Life for `30.6bn, valuing the company at `115bn.
·      Maruti Suzuki has inked a MoU with professional engineering society, Society of Automotive Engineers, to promote and help young automobile engineers in conceiving, designing and fabricatingFormula-1 style sports cars.
·      ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of ONGC, has lost bid to buy US energy major Exxon Mobil's 25% stake in deep-sea oil block in Angola.
·      SAIL is continuing a joint feasibility study with Japan's Kobe Steel for a steel plant and a 1,000megawatt gas-based power plant in north India.
·      Educomp’s ICT division 'Edureach' has bagged an order worth `680mn from Maharashtra government for implementing its solutions.
·      Fortis Healthcare has entered into collaboration with US-based TotipotentRX Cell Therapy Pvt Ltd to set up stem cell therapy centres across its select hospitals.
·      Power Finance Corporation plans to raise `53bn via issue of infrastructure bonds.
