November inflation falls, but beware of base effects bearing gifts (Jahangir

As expected November inflation declined to 7.5% on base effect
But except for minerals, inflationary momentum of every other category
rose
September inflation revised up to 8.9 % from 8.6%
RBI’s promised pause in tightening will just about hold for the mid-quarter
review on December 16; tightening back on the agenda in 1Q2011
