FOOD INFLATION AT 14.44%; HITS 10-WEEK HIGH
Food inflation accelerated to 10-week high as prices of vegetables, fruits, cereals and protein-based products continued to escalate.

NOV INFRASTRUCTURE OUTPUT SLIPS TO 2.3% VS 8.6% IN OCT
The growth of infrastructure sector slowed to its lowest this fiscal, due to contraction in production of cement and petroleum refinery products.

SENSEX AT 7-WEEK HIGH, UP 133 PTS
Equity benchmarks saw sharp surge in December series, Sensex gained 133.04 points to close at 20,389.07. Nifty rose 41.5 points to settle at 6,101.85.
