Gas Utilities (NGV summit – high on gas): We attended a conference organised by Natural Gas Vehicle Association of India (part of NGV Global), and also saw the exhibition. The summit and exhibition reinforced our hypothesis presented in our recent gas sector reportHigh on Gas, that:
1) gas availability in India is set to surge over the next few years; and
2) higher gas availability should lead to increasing penetration of city gas operations, thereby benefiting suppliers of ancillaries, in addition to gas distribution companies.
