 The Nifty futures’ open interest decreased by 5.96%
while Minifty futures’ open interest decreased by
9.95% as market closed at 6177.35 levels.
 The Nifty Oct future closed at a premium of 20.15
points, against a premium of 39.95 points in the last
trading session. On the other hand, Nov future closed
at a premium of 39.00 points.
 The PCR-OI decreased from 1.39 to 1.35 points.
 The Implied volatility of At-the-money options
increased from 16.75% to 18.25%.
 The total OI of the market is `1,75,909cr and the
stock futures OI is `51,136cr.
 Few liquid counters where cost of carry is positive are
TV-18, FSL, GVKPIL, BHARATFORG and ASHOKLEY.


View
 FIIs continued shorting stock futures and buying in
cash segment. They were net buyers of `1,020cr in
the cash market.
 Yesterday, a considerable build up was observed in
the 6200 and 6300 call options and unwinding
was visible in the 6100 and 6200 put options.
 Some buying was observed in HDIL during the day.
The stock has some short positions in it. We may
see a positive move in the stock up to `290. It is
advisable to form long with a stop loss of `267.
 TRIVENI has given a positive move due to short
covering. Some weakness was observed in the
stock. We may see a negative move up to `115.
Traders can trade with negative bias with a stop
loss of `130.
