n MSIL's February volumes were in line with expectations. Company sold 111,645
units in February 2011 versus 96,650 units and 109,753 units in February 2010
and January 2011 respectively.
n In the domestic segments volumes were up 20% YoY to 101,518 units; however
MoM volumes were up by a mere 1%.

n Sequentially volumes remained steady in A2 segment and the C segment.
Launch of diesel version of SX4 helped the company clock in its highest monthly
volumes of 13,024 units in the A3 segment. Overall the mix improved slightly
during the month.
n MSIL made an entry in the A4 segment with the launch of Kizashi during February 2011. During the month the company dispatched 25 units of Kizashi sedan to
the dealers for the purpose of display/test drive and the actual sales to customers
will begin from March 2011.
n MSIL exported 10,102 units in February 2011, a YoY drop of 15%. MSIL's has
significantly shifted their geographical exposure from Euro zone to other markets
in the past one year.
n MSIL's volumes in January 2011 were impacted by plant shutdown and in February 2011 due to 10% fewer days. We therefore expect sequential improvement
in volumes for the company in March 2011. In FY12, we expect the car industry
to grow in the range of 12-15% and expect MSIL to move in line with the industry
