LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced its Q4FY12 along with Annual FY2012 result on 25th April 2012.
The company’s top line increased by 5.76% QoQ and 24.81% YoY to INR1662.31 crores, while bottom line decreased by 17.09% QoQ and 19.43% YoY to INR253.6 crores. For the whole year of FY2012, the total income increased by 32.70% YoY to INR6141.82 crores while, Profit After Tax (PAT) decreased by 5.46% YoY to INR916.33 crores.
High cost of capital has dragged the company’s profitability. The finance cost of the company increased by ~48% YoY to INR4591.06 crores as against INR3097.70 crores for the corresponding previous year.
The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of Rs.3.60 per Equity share (180%) of Rs.2 each.
