SpiceJet to begin regional service as planned
SpiceJet will start regional operations to Tier-2 and 3 cities as planned from mid-July to
cities like Vijayawada, Tirupati, Mysore, Mangalore, Madurai, Nagpur and Indore.
The company will operate to these destinations with its new Bombardier Q400 Aircraft, of
which delivery will start from June-end. The company is expected to add 11 bombardiers
in FY2012. SpiceJet is expected to make Hyderabad its hub for operations. We continue to
maintain our Neutral recommendation on the stock.
