Ipca’s SEZ Indore formulations manufacturing unit gets UK-MHRA approval
Ipca Labs’ new formulations manufacturing unit situated at Pharma Zone, SEZ Indore,
Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, has been inspected. It has been certified that the unit
complies with the principles and guidelines of GMP laid down in the directives by the
Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), U.K. It is the fourth
manufacturing unit of the company that has received approval from MHRA, U.K. This is a
positive development for Ipca Labs. At the CMP of `273, the stock is trading at 14.6x and
11.8x its FY2011E and FY2012E earnings, respectively. We remain Neutral on the stock.
