leading to a price drop: Sun TV has dropped about
18% in the last two trading days. We believe this could
be because the promoters of Sun TV are related to the
DMK party chief M Karunanidhi. We feel that the market
has overreacted in this case.
News flow: Investors are concerned that the reported
problems of the DMK party may hurt Sun TV and its
financials. Sun TV has issued two press releases
naming the 20 channels that it owns and denying any
share holding or association/transaction between itself
and its promoters with Kalaignar TV. Kalaignar TV is a
