HCC bags order worth `232cr
Hindustan Construction Co. (HCC) has bagged a contract by Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam
Ltd. (JV company of NTPC and BSEB) valued at `232cr to construct 2x195MW Muzaffarpur
Thermal Power plant, stage II, in Bihar. The scope of the work involves earthwork, RCC,
structural steel fabrication and erection for power house, main plant, CW and other offsite
works with chimney and chimney elevator works. The project is expected to be completed in
34 months. With this order, HCC’s outstanding order book now stands at `17,142cr (4.1x
FY2011E revenue). We maintain our Neutral view on the stock.
