Buzzing Stocks
·      Ranbaxy and MSD, the Indian arm of Merck & Co, has reportedly said that they have terminated the drug discovery programme to develop anti-bacterial and antifungal medicines.
·      Reliance Power is planning to take its renewable energy (wind and solar) capacity to 1,000 MW in next two-three years.
·      TCS to setup a `1500Cr mega global learning centre in Kerala.
·      Lupin lines up for acquisitions in Latin America, in talks with at least a couple of candidates in Brazil & Mexico.
·      Apollo Hospitals will invest nearly `1000Cr to setup 12 new hospitals in small towns across the country over the next two years.
·      BHEL plans to float a non banking financial company to finance power projects.
·      NMDC has got a conditional approval from the Environment and Forest Ministry for a `274Cr limestone project in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
