PARLIAMENT ADJOURNED SINE DIE ON SPECTRUM LOGJAM
The winter session of Parliament today ended without transacting any business, going down in history as the only session virtually washed out.


SENSEX UP 182 PTS IN VOLATILE TRADE
In a volatile trade, Sensex ended up at 19,691.78 points on funds buying in blue-chips like RIL, HDFC. Nifty ended at 5,907.65, up 50.30 points.

I-T DEPT SLAPS NOTICES ON MNCs, M&A DEALS
Before year-end, the I-T Department has put more than 380 M&A deals from 2007-08 under scrutiny and will slap 7,000 cr transfer pricing cases on MNCs.
