·       Reliance Communications plans to borrow $1.9 billion from China Development Bank, in a deal to be signed when Premier Wen Jiabao visits New Delhi.
·       The department of telecom, or DoT, has sent notices to Reliance Communications (RCOM) and Tata Teleservices to withdraw some third-generation, or 3G, services as they violate security norms.
·       Bajaj Hindusthan has committed investments to the tune of Rs225bn in power projects to come up in Uttar Pradesh over the next 4-5 years.
·       Power Grid Corp of India has approved investing Rs55.4bn on five projects across the country.
·       The shareholder of LIC Housing Finance approved a stock split in the ratio of 1:5 as part of its plan to improve the liquidity of its scrip
