Watch Nifty
Ø Nifty continues to be weak. As we have been indicating, weakness was expected. Some more correction and Nifty will be ready for a move up again. It thus presents an opportunity to invest . Nifty has the following supports - 5950-60 ; 5820 and then 5700. Bank Nifty is moving in sync with Nifty.
Ø Nifty's support for 28/10 is expected around 5950-60.
Ø Midcap Bank scrips viz. Andhra Bk., Bank Baroda, Canara Bk., Dena Bk., DCB, Syndi Bank, Vijaya Bk continue to do well. Other scrips including Arvind Mills, Gitanjali Gems are also good.
Ø The following are other scrips which can be accumulated :
o Deccan Aviation > 82/50 ; Edelweiss > 68/20 ; IDBI > 179/25 ; LIC Hsg Fin. > 1425 and M&M > 738.
